Epistles at St. Paul’s
Hungry to learn but don’t want to get lost wandering around the
Come join us for Epistles at St. Paul’s to listen and talk with our local professors, and other people who work in our community, about their different fields. Each Epistle will be held the second Tuesday of the month (weather permitting), beginning at 7:00pm, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Church Street.
Each lecture will be approximately one hour long, and will be followed by refreshments, and the opportunity for questions and discussions on the topics. Each lecture is designed to be informative and accessible to all who attend.
We work on the University Calendar Year so for the 2013/14 season we have two remaining evenings with the following topics:
November 12: Burton MacDonald: St Paul, Arabia, Damascus and the Nabateans. "Did Paul carry out missionary work among the Nabateans?"
Dec. 10: Linda Darwish: Socio-religious issues in Iranian cinema.
January 14, Dr Donna Trembinski
February 11, Dr Robert Kennedy
March 11, Dr Doug Al-Maini
Her Excellency, Myanne Francis, former Lt Governor of NS
The talks are great and the refreshments awesome!
