Access to Church Records

Information in our church records is available for those requiring proof of baptism, confirmation and marriage and, on a limited basis, to those seeking genealogical data.

If you are looking for a baptismal or confirmation certificate:

Contact the parish administrator with as much information as possible, such as:

• Full name

• Date of baptism or confirmation

• Name of priest or bishop

• Church

Certificates will only be issued to the person baptized or confirmed

If you are looking for a birth or marriage certificate:

Birth and marriage certificates are issued by the Government of Nova Scotia. Please go to the Vital Statistics website for more information.

If you are seeking genealogical data:

A fee of $15 per hour can be requested at the discretion of the rector.

We reserve the right to refuse requests.

No timelines for completion will be given.
